Paid work - drove to Nashville to get the new van.  Drive TO was fine, drive back was a nightmare, and the new van is terrible.  No rear view mirror (no back windows to be fair), tiny storage capacity, noisy engine, can't adjust the mirrors, and I'm sure other shortcomings will manifest.  It would impress a person who never has to drive it.  Very irritating day.

Creative work - got some good sound work done, finally getting levels on the song and the driving sounds.  A few more sound effects and it should be done.

In the interim - generally frustrating day.

Creative work - figured out the bug's sounds, for the most part.  Tried to get some more scraping for the dais, not sure if I got anything though.  Coming along.

In the interim - gas day today.   Also, turns out I had left my USB drive at work.  Could have sworn I'd brought it home yesterday.  Oh well, at least it's found.  And the first of the retirement things--very welcome, but I wonder what's lurking.

Overall - can't complain too much about today.
