Paid work - Retired.

Creative work - some work on the forest bit and the overhead bit.

In the interim - felt ill and tired all day, didn't leave the house.  

Overall - glad to get a No but it was touch and go for a while.

In the interim - backup time.  Managed to get it all done. Yay.

Paid work - Retired.

Creative work - nothing really.  Looked through photos for overhead foliage.  Started working on the bits for the overhead and working on them.

In the interim - went for a walk and felt ill.  Not surprising.

Overall - got another paycheck, so that's good.

Paid work - Retired.

Creative work - doing some work on the "gate" section.  Getting more foliage stuff so it is starting to look pretty good.  Otherwise, not a very productive day.

In the interim - as expected, didn't do much of anything.  Except buy more beer.

Overall - I don't know why I keep doing this.

February 25, 2026 (Wednesday)

Paid work - Retired.

Creative work - work on the overhead branches for the "gateway" bit.  And working on the gateway bit itself.  Shot a couple more videos to watch how treelines "move" when walking past them.  Made some progress on the "gateway" in terms of actual useful imagery, which was nice.  Still working on the "side walk" bit but that seems OK in the background.

In the interim - other than the Yes, not a bad day.  Walked, found out Fireman's "French dip" will expire shortly.  My Edison ID is deactivated, though I suspect that's because I checked "No emails" for forms.  If I don't get a paycheck on Friday, I'll be fine.  Still it would be nice...

Overall - nice to work on things early, even though I'm tired.  We seem to be back to getting very little night sleep.  And the booze every other day.

Paid work - Retired.

Creative work - gathered some tree pics.  Started working on removing the backgrounds, etc, on some of them and have some interesting ideas about what to do with them.  Later, more work on the tree stuff and the overhead dome.  Shot a video to see what different tree-line depths do when walking along a path.  Result seems to be close trees "move" fast and far-away trees are much "slower."

In the interim - got up and out of bed somewhat early for the first time in quite a while and immediately went to work.  Tired, but it feels nice to be productive so early on.  Worked a bit on tax forms.  

Overall - pretty good day overall, though a big block in the middle where I was exhausted.  Went to Asia Cafe, they are expanding.

In the interim - Very cold today, went for a long walk anyway.
