In the interim - went to the doctor for the Medicare appointment, looks like all went well though I won't know for sure until next week.  Looked up Medicare D and got confused.  Then went and voted, and then went for a walk.  Overall not a bad day.  

Overall - as usual, slept poorly.  Dreamt I was helping boat traffic deal with glue from a giant squid.  And the Yes seemed inevitable.

In the interim - did nothing all day.  Got the mail and that was it.

Overall - another day gone.  Tired, sleeping, no energy.

Creative work - a lot of animation on the "worker turns around" bit.  Still needs work.  Especially since I realized while lying in bed that the arms are all wrong!  So I did a bunch of fixing on that and have made some good progress.

In the interim - Well, that was a Friday.  Bought a new desktop PC.  Hope it's good.

Overall - got very little sleep as usual...also very ill when I got out of bed.  What's the difference I ask.

Creative work - some attempts at fixing the missing gradient.  Vegas 23 is terrible, and Vegas 26 seems to be a no go.  Getting some work done but it is slow.

Overall - other than the Yes, could use a few more days like this.

In the interim - went for a much longer walk than I'd anticipated.  It was fun though tiring.  Picked up an orange thing on the way...it was nothing, but there was no trash can for miles.  Almost kept it as a reminder against futility, but threw it away any way.

Overall - last of the paychecks; it was nice.  Also SSA though smaller than usual.  It's OK.

Overall - despite last night's Yes, I was not ill at all this morning.  Very odd.  And another Yes tonight.

Creative work - designed my numbers, and made some attempts to animate them.  Also thought of a nice gag to put in there.  Worked on the gag, looks good.  Still need a couple of shots for that, then we should be complete to 5 minutes or so, with no need for pickups or fixes.  Later, worked on the arms for the gag.  Getting good.

In the interim - met Millie the dog again, and she loved being petted.  Owner and I exchanged names.  Nice day. 

Overall - slept slightly better last night--still not sleeping well, and with vivid dreams--but I seem to have accumulated more rest.  IE, I didn't immediately crash on the couch after getting out of bed.  I still did, just not first thing.

Creative work - worked on the numbers for the camera-view scene.  Also made some video snow that I might use there as well.  Realized while trying to sleep that I'd left out a shot.  So animated and rendered that, and...realized it doesn't line up with the other shots.  So, time to fix that... Working on that.  Looks good, though I'm having trouble with water motion.  And should the sky get larger as one walks toward it?  Never thought of that.  Update: finished that, and worked on the Camera-Viewpoint scene.  Everything but the numbers.

In the interim - slow day overall.  Met a couple of nice dogs.  Very intense desire for a Yes, managed to fight it.

Overall - barely slept, and when I did, very intense dreams.  Not nightmares, or bad at all, just very vivid and strong.

Creative work - Edited the droid/bug sequences together in Vegas.  Saw some things which needed to be reanimated, so I did that.  Looks pretty good.  Another minute added.

In the interim - not sure why the booze has such a strong compulsion.  Really got to fight to get a No.

Overall - sick and weak all day.  Almost nothing done.

In the interim - phone call with Empower went well; we decided to keep the money where it is.  For some reason I was tensed up after the call.  

Overall - ill again, thanks to last night, but pulled through.  Slept a lot.

Creative work - did some timing changes to the overhead bit.  Looks more natural...but the waves still need work.  Used filters to make some roundness.  The waves just nag at me.

In the interim - got the laundry done.  More sleeplessness, thanks to cat insisting on stomping on me.  He is not losing weight I tell you what.

Overall - more tired, more sleeping.

Creative work - more work on the background to the cambot close-up.  And I think that is finished.  Looks pretty good.  Did a bunch more work on the various bits of this sequence...looking like progress.

In the interim - wanted to do the laundry, but the app can't find the washer (!?).  Bundled all the stuff into the car and will get quarters tomorrow and go to the other laundry.

Overall - slept really badly last night, but managed to get the Sunday stuff done early.  Cold and rainy today.  Great phone call.

Creative work - working more on the two transition bits. Doing more detail work.  Overall a fairly productive day.  When you add more highlights it always looks better.

In the interim -  made an appointment to discuss retirement options next Tuesday.  Bought the wireless HDMI thing (it was inevitable).  Also, that Yes...well, it wasn't inevitable.  But it happened.

Overall - mostly a good day...really good, after all.  But then that Yes.
