Creative work -  work on the window bit.  No matter what I do, adding the rain effect breaks up the other layers badly.  Even compressing the trees into one layer and the clouds into another, and the rain still fractures things.  Without it, it works.  I'd kind of like it to be in there somehow.  UPDATE: removing the rain completely from the flashing bits and it works great.  

In the interim - not as tired today.  Went to Best Buy earlier afternoon, and it was unusually crowded.  Normally on Black Friday the events are over around mid-morning and things are calm.

Overall - glad to get another No.  Thinking about beer made me feel ill, which I think is good.  Still there in the fridge though.

Overall - more power outages.  The UPS helps a bit, but got drained during another one and flicked at the PC.  It still shudders now and then and the monitors go off.   Haven't lost any work yet but it's getting discouraging.  Along with everything else.

In the interim - got home and of course the power was off.  The office said they'd be fixing all the electrics "sometime" in the future.  Pressing the breaker didn't work.  Prepared for a weekend with only the bare essentials before I remembered that there were breakers in a panel under the air-conditioning.  Reset the one that was off, and I was able to switch the breaker.  Power back on.  Now just waiting for it to go off again.  Save and save often.

Overall - and here comes the weekend.  At least I know more about power stuff.

Paid work - lots of dull make-good work (argh) and some driving.

Creative work - I think all the animation is done.  I need to assemble it tonight and watch it.  Later: added some bits and edited the timing.  It looks quite final.  Yay!  Now on to the soundtrack.

Paid work - some driving and hauling.  Fairly slow with busy bits.

Creative work - good faces and some animation.  Needs a bit of tweaking but almost ready for sound work.

Overall -went to Walmart to see if they had good discounts on stuff and bought another trackball.

Creative work - more work on the "disappointed" face.  Getting there, though it is difficult.  Even took some selfies but they don't help much.

In the interim - took the iPads to the Apple Store and they were able to set them back to default.  No cost, and everyone there was pleasant.  Why the security is so iron-clad is a mystery.  It guarantees simple codes just to use the thing.

Overall - another weekend.  Ill and tired all the time.  Learned that nothing in the mall opens until noon.  Great phone call, as usual, and I did it without drinking!
